Honey-Orange Glazed Salmon

Honey-Orange Glazed Salmon

Perhaps it’s from living in the Pacific Northwest, but my favorite type of fish is salmon. My usual go to salmon dish is this one, smothered in dill and lemon juice. However sometimes, I’m in the mood for something with a little extra glaze. And that is where this salmon recipe comes in. This Honey-Orange Glazed Salmon is seriously addicting.

It is sweet and spicy, and the glaze is made out of only 4 ingredients. I love it when you can make a flavorful meal with so few ingredients! It makes it easier to make it over and over and over again. Which seriously, I have made this at least 6 times in the last couple months. At least. The beauty of this dish comes from reducing the glaze prior to putting it on the fish. By doing that, it concentrates all the flavors and helps them mix and mingle before coating the salmon.

I love serving this salmon alongside these Moroccan roasted carrots and lentils. They make such a beautiful pairing.

If you aren’t a spice fan, you can use a little less red chili, but really, with the sweetness of the orange juice and honey, I wouldn’t call this a “spicy” dish at all. What sort of quick weeknight salmon dinners are you cooking up? Let me know if you give this Honey-Orange Glazed Salmon a try!
