I was recently gifted a bottle of sparkling rosé wine. It was a sweet gesture, but it’s been sitting on my shelf for a few months now and I’ve been wondering what I should do with it. I usually don’t opt for bubbly drinks, though I do love the way sparkling wine tastes. So it came down to two options: re-gift it, or get a little creative. Well, I opted for the latter, and the result is this delicious festive sparkling rosé cocktail. Mildly bubbly and completely flavorful.
The recipe is simple. It requires three ingredients, and due to the very low alcohol content of most sparkling wines, this is perfect for an aperitif, or pre-dinner beverage. Also, while this is perfect for a festive party, I definitely made this for myself the other evening to enjoy while I watched Serendipity for the 1,000th time. There are many ways to be festive this season, but sometimes a nice drink can make an evening a little extra special. Cheers!
