Instructions
Chocolate Donuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease donut pan.
In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Then add in the eggs and vanilla extract.
In a medium bowl, sift all of the dry ingredients together. Then, alternating, add the dry ingredients and milk into the butter mixture. The donut batter should be thick and smooth.
Fill a piping bag or large ziploc with the batter. Pipe rings into the donut pan filling each spot about 2/3 of the way full. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool for a minute in pan and gently remove. Let cool completely.
Marble Glaze
Make three glazes in three bowls. In each bowl, mix 1/2 Cup powdered sugar with 1 Tbsp. of milk. Leave one white. Add a very small amount of red coloring to the second to achieve a light pink. Add red coloring to the third to make a red.
Using a fork, drizzle the white and red dyes on the top of the pink glaze (see above). Dunk a fully cooled donut into the dye, turning slightly while pulling it out. Place on cooling rack and let set. Repeat process re-drizzling white and red glaze in the pink glaze bowl every 2-3 donuts.
