These cajun shrimp are delicious on their own as an appetizer, or a part of a larger meal. Cooked to perfection on a cast iron pan.

Ingredients
Cajun Seasoning
2tsp.Dried oregano
2tsp.Dried Thyme
1 1/2tsp.Cayenne
2 1/2tsp.Paprika
1 1/2tsp.Onion Powder
2 1/2tsp.Garlic Powder
1/2tsp.Red chili flakes
1 1/2tsp.Ground Black Pepper
1 1/2tsp.salt
Shrimp
1 1/2Tbsp.olive oil
1lb.Uncooked shrimp, shell removed and deveined
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine all of the dried seasonings. Set aside.
Place peeled and deveined shrimp in a bowl. Sprinkle 1 1/2 Tbsp. of cajun seasoning and 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil over the shrimp, and mix with your hands until they are all coated.
Heat 1 Tbsp. olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Place Shrimp in a single layer in pan.
Cook for about 4 minutes flipping halfway, or until they are cooked through (pink and springy to the touch). Remove from heat and serve.
Notes
This recipe for cajun seasoning makes more than this shrimp recipe requires. The seasoning can be kept in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 6 months.
